Tis’ the season to plan for your special event
What to do if your event is planned for outside and it rains on your big day. Be sure to have a plan B. Most venues that offer an outside space offer a rain alternative but be sure to preview both options. Also consider tent options or enclosed gardens as an alternative to outdoor exclusive venues. Happy weddings.
Love is simple, love is kind
Take the time to know their mind
Love is in the simple things. Plan a simple getaway at a local park or venue to take time for one another. Although friends are important, taking time for one another is crucial to a healthy relationship.
Are you unsure about how to set up your ceremony or undecided on a traditional ceremony versus one more personalized? Consider creating your own by writing and borrowing from favorite words and verses. Tell your personal story and don’t be afraid to diverge from the common and traditional. The day should be about you as a couple. Think about your favorite ideas and work with your officiant or clergyman to create what you want.
With Spring comes love and rebirth. Take the time to soak up the sunshine, enjoy everyday as a new day. Chronicle your experiences and happiness for your loved ones, to share on a rainy day. Take pictures and spend time with those that mean most to you.
Despite everything, it is love that unites people across all boundaries and obstacles.
Whether you have a unique union or just want an alternate to a church ceremony, finding the rights words is important to making your day perfect. Consider using poetry, stories and personal readings to capture the right sentiment for your ceremony. Or consider writing your own creating a perfect union. There are numerous resources available at your local library, bookstore and online. Look to sample readings/ceremonies provided on my website to help get started. ~ AB
