On October 4th, from 4:00-6:30 pm at Cleveland Urban Winery, there will be a meet and greet for the Cleveland chapter of the Tolkien Society, aka Cleveland Smial. All are welcome and we hope to share ideas, new scholarship and current projects, as well as general discussion about all things Tolkien.

What to do if your event is planned for outside and it rains on your big day. Be sure to have a plan B. Most venues that offer an outside space offer a rain alternative but be sure to preview both options. Also consider tent options or enclosed gardens as an alternative to outdoor exclusive venues. Consider creating your own by writing and borrowing from favorite words and verses. Tell your personal story and don’t be afraid to diverge from the common and traditional.
